WinGrid v3.80 Portable

Use your mouse buttons to quickly arrange windows on your desktop in a manner that facilitates working with multiple applications. Having multiple windows open at the same time is not unusual, and constantly switching between them is not the most efficient way to get things done. While they may be plenty of space on your desktop to keep them all up, organizing them is a time-consuming process.

WinGrid is an interesting utility that simplifies the task of arranging windows on your desktop. By just pressing the left and right mouse buttons at the same time, windows will be organized based on the position of the cursor.

First of all, it is worth noting that WinGrid does not need to be installed before use, which means you will be able to start using it as soon as it is downloaded. When also considering its small file size, the program is very easy to deploy.

Once launched, the application can be found in the system tray. It is very unobtrusive, and you can also add it to the startup list directly from the tray menu.

WinGrid uses a relatively simple layout that you can see in the screenshot. Windows can be adjusted to half height or full height, as well as file width (around 550 pixels) or content width (around 1400 pixels).

To trigger the adjustment, just click both mouse buttons while the cursor is over the window. Based on the position of the cursor, the window will be sent to the left or right side of the screen.

When triggering the function once more on the same window, the adjustment to be made is again determined by the position of the cursor. Explaining it is rather difficult in writing, so just check the illustration available on the project’s GitHub page.

It displays all the detected partitions within its main window.
